well i guess im lookin for a little bit of spoon feeding, i cant seem to understand how this works for some reason.

id have it tuned professionally, but out here the nearest place that might do it is 200 miles away and until i can get it running decent enough, isnt a option at the current moment.

cant really drive the car there with how its running.....anywho, im almost positive the tune is the source of my issues, but am open to ideas

idle AFR- 14.5-15.5, sometimes drops a little leaner for a quick millisecond but pretty much stays around there

im running a base map from a friend- 9psi map, smaller turbo, 440cc injectors
my setup has a larger turbo, 750cc injectors, and im just running the wastegate spring for now (external gate, 11psi spring)

in the fuel map, i changed the injectors from 440 to 750cc and went for a drive around the block to see what im working with

on my boost guage im maintaining a steady -15 on the vac side and when i give it gas it quickly hits 0 but doesnt ever build boost

car is VERY sluggish, slower than it was when it was NA and feels like im running into a wall around 4k rpms

arf stayed around approx 13:1 while driving (i know a bit on the lean side...but is that a issue if im not building boost?)

oh and the little whistle i used to have from the turbo prior to my transmission blowing up last year is now gone too (first time out since i reinstalled a new trans)

i did have 1 instance of preignition which caused me to turn around and come back home

any tips?

For starters, is the wastegate stuck open? Have you checked all your vacuum lines? Boost leak test? Exhaust leak?

After my supra was down for a while, I was having trouble building boost. It was really sluggish, and would then fluctuate from 0-6psi sporadically even though I had a 10# wastegate spring. Turns out my wastegate was hella dirty from carbon, oil, and road grime. It was partially stuck open half the time.

HTH!

hmmm ill have to take it apart and check it out, although that doesnt really solve the sluggish issue, ive seen weirder things though, the car has sat for a almost a year now
