Finally got most of the work buttoned up. Got some glass and got it registered, so I am now out and about. I have had this project going for wayyyyy to long, but life gets in the way and I do not mind that one bit. haha

I had posted pics a long time back, but it was far from "close". I still have to finish up odds and ends on the body before blow it out in a urethane flat black finish, but it is close enough to cruise around and make noise, lol.

Once I can get a cost effective bag setup it can sit 4" lower, 43" as it sits now with the static drop and I do not scrape at all....hardly.

Thanks!

Yeah I had it registered back in 08' and I had to set it on the back burner again. No glass and the roof work was still rough. This summer I should be all over, especially while I restore the VW Bus. See ya around.

I like it, but I'm curious - shaved plastic panels? did you fiberglass it?

That's right kids, Bolts and torque settings in Z32's are purely an NVH issue, as the car itself fits together like DOHC Nissan Jenga.

I actually cut out an adjacent portion of polymer panel from the parts car door panels and "welded" it in. That allows the door to have the flex that makes the body stay ding proof for life. I had to use minimal filler as the cut out seam was all I had to fight with. It was new to me and a the Saturn community when I first started it, as most would just blob a 1/2 pint of "kitty hair" with some holes drilled and call it a day....lmao! I did not want door bricks, so I went for it. Now if only I could add flex agent to the single stage HotRodFlatz, I will see how it reacts in a couple of weeks. The primer seems to take well, but the enamel is a whole other monster.

Thank you. That was the idea, do something different. Kind of like the Saturn mantra back in the day "Different kind of company, different kind of car", I just gave it the Emeril and kicked it up a notch.

If this is a I Love the Mid 90s VH1 show, I'll share my 2,000 Yen. I remember HighDesertRacecraft. I remember thinking 'who in the blue hell would pick that username and own a different kind of car like a Piece Of Saturn." And the better part of half a decade has passed, and I have a POS as well. I'm not sure whether I should throw you a ticker tape parade or kill myself, but at least one good thing has come from this... Saturn is dead.

BTW, sorry about that, Pontiac...

...and I certainly don't want to mock the myths that define some of you.

hahahaha That was because you didnt know me, you knew of me. No worries, the interwebs has, and always will, deceive people. Saturn technically died in 02, so that boat shipped a long time ago. When GM decided the "different" car should share with the Crapolier and Snatchfire it all went downhill.

What's really funny is how people are not sure what brand of car it is...they are always asking what it is, then most have a story of a family member that had one. It's hilarious. I have had more pictures taken and thumbs up than 90% of the "Reaching crowd" could ever dream of....ahhh redemption!

The fact that this thread has nothing to do with vagina saddens me.
