Some of you have seen the classic custom I drive. It's a 1950 Oldsmobile.

Well even the oldies have to breath. I bought this set-up for it around a year ago.
Posted Image
Decided it was time to put it on.
Here is the stock set-up, rear draft two-barrel.
Posted Image
Got the intake off, here's the stoc valley pan.
Posted Image
Bought an aluminum valley pan. Was a pain, it came a half inch to wide. After a half hour or so of working it with the belt sander, got it installed.

Got the intake on.

Going to pick up some hardware for the plumbing, and some theaded bar to work on linkage (already got the progressive set-up, just need to mate to stock stuff)

When I die, bury me 8 feet under, so I can still be lower than all my friends.

That's right kids, Bolts and torque settings in Z32's are purely an NVH issue, as the car itself fits together like DOHC Nissan Jenga.

Thanks guys, the original carb system really sucks. No air back there LOL. I plan on one day installing flamethrowers, hence the longer than needed bellflower pipes. With all the gas that will now be available to burn.
here are the carbs mounted.

Where did you get your white walls?

I got them from Coker tires. They are bias ply H78/15 payed around $150 each, wanted the old school look. you kind of pay for it though. They ride real rough. Feel every bump on the road.

Radial wide whitwalls just don't have the same look. I've driven it to Colorado for the early Iron run, you just have to watch out with the ruts. I had forgotten how bias ply tires just want to follow them right off the road.

I figured Coker, just thought there was a chance another company made some. Monopoly I tell you! Lol
I'm looking to get some radial wide whites for two of my cars. I'm not old school enough to run bias ply.

If I would drive it more than I do I would have gotten radials.
Got the plumbing done.
