The Force on Force class is a dynamic interactive gun fighting class utilizing air soft simulation training drills, and will be done with air soft (6mm plastic BB's) gas powered simulated firearms. (most of the equipment needed you most likely already own!!!)
Range time on paper targets is Okay, but It’s STATIC and PREDICTABLE training, Take yourself out of your comfort zone and apply those skills in Dynamic, stressful situations and answer the questions you have about what if??..

***You do not have to be 21 to take this class. If you are under 18, you simply need a parents signature to take the course. (If you are under 15 and wish to take it, talk with me at the school or call and I will make exceptions after talking with your parent)***

This class will simulate actual situations civilians may need to respond to, such as dealing with an attacker with a knife charging you, or how to deal with multiple armed opponents. It will bridge the gap between punching holes in paper and having to deal with actual DYNAMIC attack situations, and allow you to experience first hand what it takes to win the fight. You will experience a range of scenarios up to and including multiple attackers drawing guns and firing at you!

Reality Based Training under stressful conditions will allow you to apply your Range Training in unpredictable situations and answer the questions you will have as a CCW permit holder, or handgun owner.
Many students have taken the course more than once (DISCOUNTS APPLY EACH TIME) to continually improve their reaction times and technique!!

Cost: $100 including tax (those taking the course again are

Yeah. So, Jacob, do you know anybody who starts CCW classes after noon? That is the one reason I haven't bothered with the permit, I'm not exactly a morning person.
...and I certainly don't want to mock the myths that define some of you.

No, and the most common reason is the state requires 15 hours of training, so for a typical 2 day class you would be in class till 7 or 8 at night. The city shooting range cease fire is at 4 - 4:30 so you would end up not having time to do the qualification shoot before a range closes. Most instructors are not likely to want to start a class that late. Even Calibers with their indoor range is not goin to start a class that late and have to run until closing. One option would be to take a private course and break it up into 3 or more shorter days, but expect to pay more for private instruction. (Keep in mind you only have to do the 2 day course one time for the 4 year permit, and then it is a 4 hour renewal course after each 4 year expiration.) I hope this helps.

I already hold the second day of the course on Sunday. As I mentioned earlier to MediumD, the state requires 15 hours of training, which I and most instructors break up into two consecutive 8 hour days. In order to hold a class in the evenings (after 6 pm) I would have to break the class into 4 or 5 days or more (3 or 4 hr sessions). Furthermore, there are no staffed ranges that are open that late in the evening. If you really want to take the class and can only do lessons after 6 pm I would inquire about possibly having a private course tailored to your schedule (you may be very hard pressed to find someone who will teach it in this manner). Yes I have done private lessons and can do this, but as I also mentioned earlier, expect to pay significantly more. My rates for the standard class format are listed in the other post, (typically a discount rate of $150 for members here) I would expect to pay a premium for each day added to a 2 day class for a private 1 on 1 format.

Hope this helps

Yep, I understand the hours requirement, and yes, your reply did help. I expected a 'no, noob' response, where I'd just have to suck it up and go against my nature to attend an early course. But the private course idea was something I hadn't previously considered, so thank you for bringing that option to my attention. Recent developments have put this on a far back burner for a couple months, but again I do thank you for your input.
...and I certainly don't want to mock the myths that define some of you.
