So I walk outside today and noticed someone hit the back of my ae86 that was parked in my driveway. No note nothinig left behind. What I don't understand is how stupid these people are, I have a camera looking right at the cars in my driveway. The guy lives just down the street from me, so now I have to wait till he comes home. The cops told me to come down and fill out a report and that's it, even though I told them I have video of the vehicle hitting my car and driving away. I will say this that little ae86 is strong because this guy had a 4x4 chevy truck extended cab. It pushed my little car about 5 feet and all it did was crack my bumper and a few dents. The video looks a lot worse then the damage it took.

That sucks! Glad you got it on video, though.
I wouldn't expect the police to do anything about it, you'll have to run it through your insurance.

Just had the the car checked out. It's about $1500 in damage. Now it's time to wait for him to come home and give him the great news. I can't wait!

Even if it is totaled out, it's not like he has comprehensive on a 20+ year old car I'm sure.

So I have been looking for this guy to get pic's of his truck and his plate. I can't find his truck and I don't remember which house he lives in. I think he has been keeping it in the garage. If I have to I'll fix this myself. Really I just need a new rear bumper. Don't worry guys this ae86 will be fixed and looking good again. It's just going to be awhile since I have to finish rebuilding my FD first.
