Coming May 9th, 2009:

Luna Performance is proud to announce the Tournament of Titans, a “Heads Up” Drag Race competition truly worthy of its name. The event will feature several classes with a $35 entry fee, and a combined guaranteed cash purse of over $4,000!

One of the big features is the Monster Class -- an anything goes, winner take all competition between the fastest vehicles at the track. The entry fee is only $35 and the winner will walk away with $1,000.


The highlight of this event will be the Baller Grudge Match with an entry fee of $2,000. There are already 8 parties who have RSVP’d, which means the winner will take home a whopping $12,800! Feelings will be hurt; egos will be crushed. One baller will prevail.

Tournament of Titans will take place May 9th, 2009 in El Paso, Texas at the El Paso Motorplex, home to one of the few all concrete ¼ mile race tracks in the country.

Looks like it would be a blast. I wish I had seen this thread earlier, then I might be able to go. I need to get more done on the car first, and get more seat time though, I think.
