With the usual round of tuner tweaks, Hennessey has cranked the ZR1 from a crazy full-bore hypercar to a "We're going to hell in four dimensions" doom rocket. With a basic intake, pulley, tune and exhaust, the ZR1's output screams up to 705 HP and 717 LB-ft of torque in a completely streetable, reliable package.

The first part of the clip has the drag launch money shot. Don't waste your time on the rest unless you're really bored. Even though this is a minor upgrade package, we wonder if Hennessey can deliver on time and fully operational as they've had huge issues with both problems in the past.

Hennessey is SUCH a TOOL. They boast about their turbo Challenger doing 12.2's on 6psi. Then Hennessey puts the Challenger on EBAY for a cool 97K. bwahahahahahahaha


A heads and cam Challenger will dip in the 11.8's with a good tune. hahahahahahaha

Only thing for sure with Hennessey is you KNOW you will be ripped off.

Oh yea, I know of FIVE LX platform (300 and Chargers) that will whip that Vette in the 1/4. And they all weigh in at 4300 pounds and 4 doors. lol

Any car running 10's is cool in my book.

Hennessey, however, is not cool. Could list a half-dozen guys that've shipped their Vipers off to him only to pick up the pieces of their cars on a flatbed 12 months later as nobody was working on them. I can't remember if ANY of them got their money back either.

I think he only likes to do work for magazine shoots.

The freaking stock car should be doing tens with some sticky ass tires if you ask me. Stupid Hennessy. Maybe they need to hire a driver or something, but knowing them they'd probably fire him after he got a good time and never pay him.
