MediumD is right here, was in Phoenix or you know I'd have posted by now.
Now the 10.34 @ 127 was done at a density altitude of around negative 800ft but still damn impressive. Some more specs on the combo. It's 511ci 50 over running ross forged pistons and eagle (olds) rods, lightly ported 76cc iron heads with 2.19/1.88 valves, solid cam, edelbrock 2115 intake, 1.7 ratio shaft roller rockers, and 2" primary BBC headers. All pretty basic, cheap stuff other than the roller rockers which get pricey. As for the rest of the car, 3700lbs, TH400, 3.90 10 bolt, 29.5 x 9 slicks. Started life as a 79 Coupe Deville.
It's a 13.4:1 motor, he was in the 10.60s on race gas, now 10.30s on alky. I say he needs to spray it.
